    OK, I've officially stopped trying to catch up on the backlog of forum posts. I started an hour behind, and between my good paying HITs, I went from 40 minutes to an hour + 15 minutes behind...

    There have been many instances of people getting their account suspended, and Amazon just doesn't give access to the money. Whatever was in there is just lost. Best not to use mturk or Payments like it's another back account, because that money can go byeFelicia with a wave of Bevos' wand. Yes that one.

    My family actually came from Pittsburgh. My grandmother was the last to live there, in the Penn Hills/Oakmont area. Now our family is scattered.

    That will come with time and experience. Part of the problem for you right now, is that you're not able to do some of the better batches yet. Most of the good numbers batches that I know of are >1k approved.

    Don't get too wrapped up in what other people are doing. There's a great variety of hits on mturk and different people are making money working on different things. It's good to pay attention to what's mentioned here, but don't feel the need to copy what someone else is doing.

    Learn to use scripts for searching for work and try to protect your approval rate.

    I'm at about 9K I do what I can. I can't type worth a crap so no writing. You learn your strengths as you go along. I'm an old fart so I usually get eliminated from a lot of the surveys too. They don't care what middle aged men want
