Nirvana was super mainstream and all over MTV in it's heyday, I'd say when Cobain was alive that RHCP were more obscure and Nirvana was more appealing to a larger audience. It wasn't until around the album with Dave Navarro that they went in a more mainstream direction. RHCP formed in 84 and didn't really have commercial appeal until Mother's Milk which was their 3rd or 4th album.

My boss called and asked me to work extra hours this week, to make up for the mistakes someone else in my department made.

The same boss who is looking for my replacement because she told me it was unacceptable to take time off to move and that I could just show up Monday or never come back. Except that it's hard to fill my position and she has a reputation for being an impossible Grinchface.

I mean, I'm already looking for something else cause I'm sure she will replace me, and that's fine really, but she can fuck right off if she wants me to put in 10 extra hours cause someone she hired is a shitty editor!

IM HAVING A HOT WEEK ON TURK BB, DONT YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!? I would literally rather scrape for pennies than work any extra hours for that biznatch.

Normally, I would be happy to take the extra hours, since I make a good hourly and I don't always get a ton of hours anymore, BUT that Grinch can suck it. She's been cutting my hours something awful lately too, and comes running to me because she can't get shit done with the people SHE hired. Cause, oh yeah, this is the same boss who tried to have me let go when she took over for my old boss.

I'm damn good at my job, which is why she hasn't found a replacement for me yet, and why she has to come to me in the first place when her other employees are epically failing to do what the client wants.
