My dashboard has a lot of Hearthstone/Video games in general. Then I also tend to occasionally check stuff like my local cities subreddit and various random ones like that when I'm bored

 

I only really post in one sub, and it's to be nice/encouraging and trying to help people out with things. I don't really interject my opinions into my posts, nor do I argue with people or try to draw attention to myself. Basically, I'm the worst Redditor ever. The gold every couple of weeks is nice, though.

 

I learned pretty early on doing a bunch of stuff to my house, that if you actually spend the money on the really good, specialized tools you can do the advanced stuff with a little practice. Basically, the only thing I can't (or refuse to do) is plumbing. Plumbing sucks.

 

I'll do plumbing, but electrical (outside changing a basic outlet/switch) scares the crap out of me.

Doesn't matter if I kill the breaker to the entire house.. nope.. no thanks. no sir. No matter how many times I read that the shock "isn't that bad" and that its where you jump back / fall to that hurts.. Nah dudes, I'm good.

See, that's what I told her. She wouldn't listen though. She's willing to do it, but her idea is to go apprentice with a carpenter for a year, build her own tiny house, and THEN MAYBE renovate with mom. You know, 10 years from now.

i had a fucky AC electrical issue and @Jagdpanzer walked me through it. it still scared me, but at least i knew someone would be tipped off if i was never heard from again.

 

Guess I just never worried about it from always doing electrical stuff when I was younger. Probably just the luck of being ignorantly confident.
