I want to get into tea but have never made tea or really drank it before. What kind of tea and brewer should I get?

If you are going to do loose leaf you can just something like this.

Now as far as tea if you want flavored stuff (I'll assume that you most likely do)

You can get proper brewers but really the main important thing is having proper temperature water by from a kettle.

A lot of you probably know my deep, deep love for original cookware (pyrex, corningware, copper pots, etc) and my specific love for French Spice. I had a complete set down to the salt and pepper shakers until my insane ex threw them all off the deck in a rage. I have gotten some of the pieces over the years, but given they are 40+ years old, it's not always easy to find them at a reasonable price or without damage/missing tops/etc. I saw a nearly complete set of the casserole dishes in an antique store but the price was crazy high and the lady who was there at the time would not negotiate the price with me. Matt went back and talked to the owner, told her about how my Grandma Bunny owned a full set and I was obsessed with it as a kid. She thought it was great and wanted to sell the set as a whole, to someone who would actually use it and love it.

I am very pleased with my new additions.
