I normally don't bite on this kind of thing, but it's worth pointing out that you can notice comments like this without making a big stink out of it or getting all butthurt.

The Google Maps app told me to "Try home!" in the search bar the other day and it gave me a good chuckle.

I can tell you from experience that the PE goes a lot further without a home draining the $$$, too.

 

I hadn't even thought about a remote position. Maybe I'm just not cut out for, oh, thinking anymore. Does Alzheimer's set in at 45? As far at the hospital, yeah, my son has been in a pediatric hospital nearly 2 hours away for 5 out of the last 7 weeks now. My husband stays up there, and I'm home with his twin sister and get up there as often as I can. Those are the days batches drop and everyone makes money - except me, because I've been driving and dealing with doctors all day.

That sounds so awful, not just the fact that you have to worry about your poor kiddo in the hospital but having the family split up like that too. I can't even imagine. I know you're probably being tongue-in-cheek with your "not thinking" comment, but seriously I give you mad props for even being able to turk during something like that. My mind shuts down on Fridays, let alone during traumatic or stressful times. I'm not the praying type, but I'll totally keep you guys in my thoughts.
