The script has been out forever. This is just them simply paying less.

 

That really adds up, although I will.

So whenever we declare a PE, someone needs to make a script that automatically deducts 15% from your earnings -- that is, sadly, your true PE(again, assuming Amazon is reporting the info and sending in a 1099 form)

I'm just wondering if the issue is that because we make so little, does the IRS have a policy of not going after people who are earning low wages?

No. Ive met folks nailed through PayPal over as little as 2k.

 

They will pull your qual if your answers don't align with what they want. They pulled mine last year. I emailed them asking what I had one wrong and if I could retake the test. They said that I didn't do anything "wrong" and that they are subjective hits. "I wasn't the kind of subjective they were looking for." They gave me my qual back after 30 days wait but said it they take it again then it's gone for good. I only do the home improvement ones now. I passed that one on first try and it took me near 10 tries on the regular ones.

 

If you worked at a del taco it would be the same thing only your employer deals with it... as far as I understand.. I haven't ever actually had a 'real job' besides mturk

Actually are you admitting to sharing your account with your cat? That is against the TOS and will get your account closed.

 

You don't HAVE to pay income tax. This is true.
Ask my Uncle Ray. He didn't pay income taxes for 20 years.

Yeah and for that is always why i just tell folks to ask a tax professional. Like for example on instaGC they 1099 me each year for $600 and up so I play it safe with Turk and report w/e it is I made and then of course I go "buy" a new computer for oddly enough about that same amount

 

I honestly am not happy about it, since it takes already low wages and makes them lower and I wasn't planning on paying this large chunk of money. I know, civic duty, etc etc, but a lot of the money goes to fund causes or policies that I wouldn't want to support, such as bringing people from far away lands into the country and equpping them with welfare, food, shelter, etc. But yeah, it seems like it should be applied to the wealthy, if applied at all

I agree and after all these years of paying in to them I still have not been given a 7 eleven, liquor store or a gas station
