Glue traps work really well. The problem is that you still have to kill them because they just get stuck to the traps. Just put the whole thing in a bad and smash it with a golf club.

Your problem is precisely the reason humans domesticated cats.

We only domesticated them after the agricultural revolution, though, which is why they aren't as socialized to humans as most dogs are.

we don't have any pets in our house so no help there. i can't kill it. i wish i had the guts but i don't. ill probably ask someone to take care of it when it's captured.

I lived in this apartment building where they tunneled between the apartments, so even when I was getting rid of them and blocking their entry, they just tunneled back from a nother apartment that refused to believe they had mice. They literally popped out of the fucking oven at one point.

What I did learn was my service dog was super murderous towards them. This picture is of a very small one, but it was the first photographic proof I had of my doggo literally mauling the fuckers (everyone thought I was joking).



@EssArrBee I did not yet have cats, Bearnie is very good at mauling mice, but it also made him deathly ill when he ate one because it had something toxic to him.

Terriers were bred to be rat/mice hunters in factories as well! Cats kept trying to rip things like yarn and such, so they used terriers because they were small enough to run under machinery and didn't want to tangle themself in fabric! I love that fact lol.

He ate the mouse? Cats usually don't do that. They prefer to leave them out to send a message to their enemies. It's a pwoer move.

 

They make snap traps that are encased so you never have to see the carnage. They even close a little door behind them once they get in.

I mean, really look around though cause if they multiply it will become a nightmare. My doggo was killing them and I had traps out everyday, peppermint oil, was puting steel wool in every hole...it was so bad we had professionals come in and still had a problem because some of the neighbors wouldn't comply with the directions to help stop them from coming back in.

A lot of cats will eat part of them and pick up worms. They hunt for fun, but also for nom nom nom.

When cats bring you dead shit, it normally means they think you are incompetent at hunting. So, I guess I can take it as a compliment Bearnie felt I didn't need to be shown how to kill shit for myself.
