wooo got a pindrop, wow thatll put me over 40 this weeks been great!

 

There is no easy way to do this w/o the CLI or API. The steps in the requester dashboard are purebred retarded (you have to create the qual, then generate a csv file for it w/ no documentation on structure/settings from Amazon, then upload that csv to assign the qual to you). I can walk the guy through it if he's just totally lost (admin@turkerhub.com) but I'm only capable of guiding him through the dashboard or the CLI, can't help w/ API if he's using that.

 

I have 94 $0.54 hits from a no TO requester on day 8 of a 30 day AA. Hopefully we're past the rejection period and now I just have to wait for AA?

 

Is the requester's name 'Satan' if so they will reject on day 29

How do I import to OW? Do I paste the whole thing into the Add+ box?

 

Has anyone done this? TO says it is easy and takes about 20 minutes. Does that sound about right?

You do need to make the test phone call with 2 phones though

 

They posted last night. Was over 14k of them at one point IIRC. Maybe more.

 

Like randomacts mentioned, the only thing that would stop you is if you cant get two devices to call from.

 

With that paycut? Is this the same batch thats still up now? Because I could believe it. The 5 cent ones would have been eaten in a couple hours.

Sorry this happened. Someone on another team at our company changed this without our permission. He said it was because the hits were lower priority. But we are raising it back, and we will make sure this doesn't happen again. I'm not sure if we can change the pay on the hits already submitted though.

Question about the scripts you mentioned, can you elaborate about what this means?

Why was the pay cut on the Product Search Relevance hits? The pay at 5 cents was already bad enough that people had to use scripts to even make them passable. With 3 cents pay I and a lot of good workers will now refuse to do the work.

You probably shouldnt mention scripts to requesters lmao. Im not sure what counts as a ToS violation because we agree not to use anything like that when we sign up for mturk. Also this makes me very happy that the pay drop isnt permanent. I feel bad for doubting them now, so i hang my head in shame. Also, thats crazy that somebody can just jump on their shit and post a batch that big. You'd think they would have to get that approved or something by their bosses.
