    He still has annoyingly nice abs. It's not fair. He will eat an entire pizza, top it off with beer, not gain a pound. If I look at pizza and beer the wrong way I have to start running.

    I keep hearing about the dad bod trend, but I don't buy it much either!

    I did pretty well on that fake review affiliate thing today btw. I know it isn't the most ethical thing in the world, but it should start bringing me in an extra $200ish weekly for like 15 minutes of work a day :dunno:. They're for really random companies that people aren't going to be using Google reviews for anyways and any one with half a brain will be able to spot them as fakes. I dunno man, I need to pay off my car loan.

    I just started running a bunch. Three times a week at first, now two times. You just can't gain weight as a runner. Actually I was running a bit too much because I was having problems forcing myself to eat enough to keep my weight. I pretty much eat and drink whatever I want too. Advantage of being over 6 foot tall is you can pack away the food and couple pounds spreads around over a large area.

    It isn't so much a matter of not being able to figure out how to do the work ourselves, as it is a matter of time and energy we just don't have to spend on that project right now - while we're still trying to move ourselves in and unpack, and work full-time, and plan out a whole-house renovation. My boyfriend has actually fixed this exact sink's plumbing before, but the ex then tried to install some ghetto filtration system before he moved out and now it leaks (didn't know this until we moved in).

    The plumber who came out today made it very obvious that he was trying to price himself out of a job that he didn't want to do. His last job ran over, he was tired, he wanted to go home. When we told him we were going to pass, you should have seen his face light up.

    We've got a family friend who's a master plumber, he's just been quite busy. We spoke to him, he agreed the guy was trying to pull our pants down, and he'll be coming out sometime this week.

    The dishwasher is also broken, yes. Obviously we have other means of washing the dishes, it's just a pain in the ass and I am venting about it. We've been using the wash basin in the basement and the bathroom sink to work down the mess he left.

    It's good to be in good cardiovascular shape, but doing too much can be detrimental to your body composition. I had a lot of fun with competitive cycling, and lost a lot of weight, but too much of it was muscle. A lot of endurance athletes end up "skinny-fat" partially as a result of excess cortisol floating around everywhere. IMO at least add weight training to the regimen if you're not doing it already, and that'd balance it out.

    Weight training > Cardio if you're only going to do one and not the other, and it's not for a specific sport or whatever.

    yeah i feel you. it took me way too long to fix my vacuum because i just didn't have the energy or care enough. i like your avi by the way, i have an enormous english lop, lettuce eating, potty trained house bunny.

    Luckily, roller blading is a super good calorie burn comparable to running, but much kinder on my knees. I hate running so much these days and I haven't been taking dance class as much as in the past- but I do weights and Skeeter and I average 8-12 miles a week walking too, which always helps! I'm 4'9", so unfortunately if I gain 5 pounds, it's immediately obvious.

    I'm having a lot of fun too, even when I'm busting my ass in the middle of the street where my neigbors can laugh about it.



    Now, how long until I can be that good?
