I think doing good work for a large variety of requesters is a key part of the criteria.

They allude to this in their own description as well. After all, you wouldn't want to certify someone who has done 100,000 Interest Audits (and nothing else) as a "master" of the entire mTurk platform. That's just common sense.

And if this is true, I'll probably never get Masters this century.

I'm fairly certain that they just get drunk and throw darts to pick masters.

 

I feel like there's some dishonesty. I have a spotty employment record, so sometimes I am employed full-time, sometimes self-employed, sometimes part-time, sometimes NEET... I mean, my honesty has to be all over the map!

It really wouldn't surprise me. They've been doing a lot to discourage using www lately.
