Bezos was smart in terms of how he decided to run the customer service side of things though. There's no point in doing anything other than offering a full refund/replacement/whatever makes it right, when you're a company the size of Amazon. Keeping the masses happy and in turn using the free advertising we're all providing them currently, is far more important than losing a few bucks here and there, regardless of whose mistake it was.

Man, I would bet I could possibly get Bearnie on board with that but Matt's cat would be a no go. She's so impossible, she insists on eating apart from the boy cats...ok, but then she can't understand the concept that her food bowl is on a different shelf...even though it's always in the same spot and we will literally put her fat ass in front of it. She will still leave her food bowl and start pawing at you for food. She will then sit in front of the other food bowls for the boys and meow loudly because they won't let her have any...her same exact food is 5 feet away in her own bowl.

I don't get that cat at all.

 

Yeah, when I got my Kindle, I got the one with ads (to save $20) and I talked with CS and they removed them for free, no questions asked. Hell yeah.

Nah, the amazon associate/affiliate team is equally garbage.

Their native shopping ads use a JS function that, since Chrome 54, is blocked by default. Which means they don't work (ETA: in a lot of situations). I wrote them and was like "hey, can I just copy the source code, fix this, and use it?"

The response was "you can't copy links (not what I asked about) but I mentioned this to tech support (the same team who told me I didn't own TurkerHub to begin with) and they'll get in touch with you eventually about the issue"

Got a speeding ticket. Cop was using Lidar and said he clocked me from 1200 feet away. PE -$160 plus insurance hike...most likely PE -700

 

I know, was just agreeing how awesome they are.

 

Request court supervision and take a driving class, it will not report on your insurance.
