I actually ran into a ryzen issue the other day. Apparently there is some usb driver error that makes me unable to flash my snes mini on this comp.

Minor TurkerView feature update:

Bonus Manager
I added a small feature so you can quickly manage which Requesters have actually paid out expected bonuses on TurkerView. For now its just for personal use, maybe one day it'll get tossed into the aggregate data, but I was getting annoying trying to do it through HITDB so I wrote this really quick.

The layout/formatting isn't fantastic atm but I'll probably fiddle with it as I get a bigger list to see what works/doesn't.

I updated all mine just going into gmail and searching for the requester name:


The site displays the expected bonus (ie, what you entered as the bonus amount when you reviewed the HIT) so you can match it up and make sure they paid you correctly (or edit the review to reflect the new amount):


I noticed I had 2 bonus amounts that were different than expected (one higher, one lower) so YMMV.

 

Only C-SATS can save my PE now.

 

Have you tried using Tampermonkey instead of Greasemonkey?

 

Yeah, I don't like asking reddit things. The circlejerk is too strong. I am subscribed there and also to r/buildapcsales though.

 

That subreddit is a lot more objective then we are here.

 

Reddit is always a mixed bag, many of the default subreddits are trash but there is still good conversation to be had in the smaller ones.

Reddit got rid of defaults a long time ago... but yeah the old defaults are all trash. I'm not subbed to any of them.

 

That subreddit is where all the AMD fans hide out to try to get people to switch from Intel from the shadows.

 

Plenty of people suggest intel stuff at the price points that they are better. They will always suggest the best bang for buck unless someone specifically asks for one brand.

 

Yeah, but I work with youse guise so I don't mind your closemindedness.. I'm willing to hear just about anything out as long as it's back up by factual data and not just "Intel is the greatest" or "AMD is the best turd-burger".

That being said, I'm just asking if that's a decent combination and if there is something I'm missing out on by choosing that particular combo. Like does it really matter if I have USB type C since it's not really standardized? That sort of thing.

I doubt any of us here actually keep up on the day to day changes on what is the best thing to buy. If you ask me I'm just going to go to that sub and figure out from there what to suggest anyways.

 

Someone needs to ban that sub from counting eBay refurbs as "sales" lol.
