FireFox users who are PC literate (@ThisPoorGuy ?) if someone wants to write a semi-decent guide to what is going on with your browser & how to fix (or if someone can link me to a post already doing that in a coherent/ELI5 way that I missed) I'll commit to writing a script so folks loading on FF will get a small alert on the forum to link to it.
