Yeah, that's mostly what happens. Hubby has a tendency to want - and buy himself - expensive toys. iPad pro this year. So he's getting a Buffalo Sabres scarf and probably a movie or game. Well, and the littlest bought him a pretty pewter ornament, and the eldest is still trying to figure something out. She may pull out the best gift, who knows... she has the Best Buy employee discount. LOL

I normally feel that way too, and up till last week. The smug was too strong for me.

 

Not very motivated to turk today. It's a paid holiday for us. And I gotsta work tonight so it'll be at time+half. If you count the holiday pay too that's 2.5 days paid all for one day.

penguins are so cute, and anything that light up catches my attention like a newborn.

& because the house i rent is the size of a shoe so all i can really put up is a sad little charlie brown tree. i usually put it next to my tv, but my cats like to chew on it and knock it over as is customary for cats to do with anything and i decided it goes on a shelf this year, so i hung a little shelf to do so.
