11/28 Totally Turktacular Tuesday

I dropped mine once so hard it made a dent in the aluminum top but thats about it. It stays in a stand in front of my couch. I use it for all my downloading, email, fiances, billpaying. I just got a new 1TB HD and put it in a small enclosure thats powered by the USB port to use for a backup drive. I don't think it will ever fail on me . They just usually get too old to put the latest OSX on like mine

 

I'm considering banning you so you can't pick up any more office spouses.. My PE can't take the polygamy anymore.

Apple focuses on a consistent style and way of doing things, and belonging in a social group to sell their wares.
Microsoft focuses on being an insufferable pain in the ass to do the same thing.
I wish I was joking but I'm not.
PC Laptop hardware is actually pretty great, which is meaningless if you want a trouble-free ride.
It's better than the late 90s though...

I used to be a huge Apple fan, owning an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, a MacBook Pro, iMac, Apple TV, and even an AirPort Extreme Base Station. Somewhere along the line they lost their vision. iTunes has been an unmanageable mess for years and Apple refuses to acknowledge it. Their latest Macbook Pros have all these USB-C ports, no Lightning port to use the new EarPods that come with the latest iPhones, and endless dongles to make up for it.

I jumped ship, and while my eye for beautiful products still drifts in Apple's direction, I just can't do it anymore. It's not me Apple, it's you.
