I never had a problem until one particular postman was just too lazy to walk up my driveway to deliver packages and blamed it on the fact I have a Rottweiler which is funny cause he has been out in the yard playing with Abby numerous times and Abby is always inside when deliveries are expected. I have all his laziness on film

 

Just gotta sort out some... technical difficulties. Gotta remove that "Blocked worldwide" message.

I think the guy was doing it for the lulz, just like *most* of 4chan, he just wasn't very good at it.

I give tons of people special treatment lol. This website is almost entirely built on social capital, to not treat exceptional users exceptionally would be exceptionally stupid of me. If anyone wants an off-the-cuff tier list (so possibly missing stuff but you get the gist of the joke) on how to get special treatment from the forum admin here it is:

1. Be a mod
2. Link a Requester to TurkerHub, bonus points if they need help with a project I'm well-versed in.
3. Post a lot of good surveys in a format that gets sent to HN
4. Mention and LINK TurkerHub anywhere that isn't TH (except UNU & other inappropriate work/HIT related areas) and encourage anyone with a pulse & IQ above 15 to join
5. Connect with other members here (play a game, share a nice life story, read a book together, throw your beautiful face in an avatar/thread) - anything that humanizes this place.
6. Interact in a socially positive way with other members here. If you pop up with a badge next to your name at the end of any month you're right here.
7. Answer inane questions without being a jerk every once in a while
8. PM me fire batches, jesus mclovin' boats I love people who do this because I do miss stuff sometimes and I swear for w/e reason people always have amazing timing and do this when I am missing fire batches LOL
9. Submit a review/script on TurkerView
10. Write scripts & share them here, but link it to GF
11. Post gifs of Taylor Swift, Kristen Bell, or any moderately attractive female celeb. Actually I'm OK with super attractive male celebs too if they're on some trashy TV show I enjoy (hello, Dean McDreamBoatDemonKillerEyes) and/or cat gifs and/or appropriately timed funny reaction gifs
12. Donate $$$ (maybe this is higher if the totals start getting absurd)
13. Buy something off Amazon
14. Don't say anything at all ever, but load the site religiously every day and make lots of money on mTurk
15. Everything else.

I hear things like comb filtering from recording too close to a hard surface, and tell people that even if you put up acoustic foam in a tiny box, that will only catch the highs, and the mids will collide and make a weird phase-shifty, flangey-sound (aka "comb filtering").
