I get the intra-rib muscle spasms. Could be that brought on by the injuries, or it just happens too.

 

This might be a stupid question but, have you been leaning on the armrest of your chair. I do it when I put my feet up and my ribs kill at the end of the day.

He doesn't understand why I'm mad.

He's never lived in an apartment and cooked in it, and I've explained to him many a time that shitty small apartments tend to cause this exact problem and it's very stressful. I've always taken off the annoying smoke detector, put it outside when I cook, put it back on a shelf , voila. NO FUCKING CLUE WHY HE PUT IT BACK UP! WITHOUT TELLING ME NO LESS! I literally didn't even know what to do for a minute when it started going off, cause my brain didn't register that it was even on the ceiling anymore.

Oh man, this one was wired in too, and I finally got it off the ceiling by violently slapping it with a metal spoon after the broom failed me, and then yanking real hard...while balancing on a chair with a stool on it.

It's just a tiny place and no ventilation to speak of. I mean, even the smallest, most benign amount of smoke makes it go off for an hour. I was heating up the oven and there was a tiny speck of something that must have been from yesterday, like literally a small shred of cheese. I can't so much as sear chicken without that thing going off loudly. The only time I actually ever burnt something, it didn't go off. Any time I'm just minding my own shit, it goes to hell.

 

no, but this makes me think that I sleep exclusively on my left side becuase of the injuries to my right leg. wonder if I am somehow agrivating the old injury by laying on them

we live in a mobile home, so ours goes off at random when nothing heat related is on and my dad and brother are out. i swear i need a hockey stick or something

Try blowing em out real good with air, and pushing the reset button if they have one. Apparently mine were like doing false alarms just based on the heat or something. Idk, the guy explained it to me but

I'm sorry boo. I know a few of my injuries didn't hurt much till years later for whatever reason, but who TF knows why. My nose didn't hurt much at all when it was about sideways, but 6 months or so later it was like a constant ache from hell. I would def ask your doc next time you see him, couldn't hurt to let him know what's up!
