Nah I started the ballet as a cute little fellow who was put in a professional version of the Nutcracker specifically because I was thought to be a cute little guy. But as I grew older I started putting on a lot more weight but the ballet helped keep it at least somewhat manageable. So did the DDR. Once I stopped both though I have started to go more off the rails.

 

You are at awesome Christmas level. I only get that I'm an idiot, an ash hole, and dumb fucking Grinch. Last year I even quit cooking Christmas dinner after I'd barely started. I think I came back to my room and turked a while. LOL

 

I've always thought Ballet and Gymnastics were two pursuits that could lead to huge success with the ladies, if one were so inclined. It's not so much now that body weight fitness is a thing, but back in the day when everyone teased ballet dancers and male gymnasts I was thinking "Yeah but that guy on the pommel horse can probably beat the crap out of Swarzenegger, and Baryshnikov is the only man on stage with 15 super-fit hotties...

As I said I had so many worse things told to me when I did ballet both about my weight and questioning my sexuality. Of course the irony was I am straight and was surrounded by girls in skintight clothing everyday.

Truth be told I finished that Dartmouth Neuroscience HIT earlier out of pure cussedness and needed some recovery time before getting back to work.

I have a little boy climbing on my head, and am trying to do some research about my new med. So I'm just dropping in, catching up, and hauling ass before it's me getting embroiled in saying something because I don't have a filter to shut this damn thing off.

 

No, the form is too technical and tense. When done properly, it should be an artistic expression of your indifference. Needs more nonchalance. More cool factor.

 

My dad got supes drunk and told me I was a mistake and a big regret in his life, my birth. Not to be outdone, the next time I visited my mother for christmas, she told me how I prevented her from leaving my dad sooner, and she regrets staying so long because her life would have been so much better without me.

I spent the next christmas with my dog, a small roast chicken, and a lot of cinnamon buns. It was 100% better.

 

Many old Hollywood tough guys got into the performing arts to avoid going to crap schools/getting involved in gangs. Christopher Walken got his start as a dancer, for instance.
