Not many Asians in West Texas. We got some Korean and Vietnamese pockets from the soldiers who came back married from the wars due to Ft. Bliss being here, but not many non-hispanics move here from other places.

 

I went to high school in a suburb of Salt Lake City, so I was a religious minority, not a racial one.

 

I'm Jewish so I'm always that as well unless I go to NY or some shit lol

 

I only met one Jew growing up. I just grew up thinking there weren't any here. I still think I was the only non-religious person in my whole school.

 

Yeah but in the SLC it's in your face. They have Seminary class in school, and a church just close enough to each school to go to for that class not to be illegal. A lot of non-Mormons use it as a way to skip class since they can't legally require you to actually go to Seminary during that hour lol.

 

I'm a Jew by heritage not religion. :^)

We had a few Jews in my school but I never knew it until years later. Just never dawned on me and not apparent.
My school was a multicultural paradise, none of that stuff was an issue, at all.
Hispanic kids were actually higher for part of the year, that was Fruit country. But again just not an in your face issue, completely subsumed under regular concerns like the opp. sex and parties and sports etc.
