    That's a pretty pessimistic view. In the same way you think you could come across someone on a bad day, you could come across someone who's sympathetic to what happened to you. 2500 rejects from one batch is not a small thing. I couldn't even survive that as of now, I don't think. It wouldn't hurt to check in and ask about it and get an actual human response.
