Another christmas gift for Bearnie showed up at the house! Thank you Santa!

I accidentally, very briefly opened one cause they stuck some stuff in one of those cardboard envelopes (and I order a bunch with prime, so I thought it was something I ordered, my bad!) with the pull tab, so I pulled it and cat toys/gift notes scattered out onto the floor. Bearnie has no idea though! I hid it from him with his other christmas booty before they realized what had happened.

God Emperor Bearnie Supreme approves of this Secret Santa thing.

That wasn't scared money. I just didn't feel like doing it with a timer that short.

It's a past subjunctive and in this case, the correct way to state that you wish you were drunk right now. I wish I was drunk, would be effectively saying you wished you had been drunk in the past as opposed to wishing you were snackered now.
