PE: made a really convoluted and ugly hotkey in keyboard maestro to copy only the gid in any new worker panda link.

 

in this new hit finder how are you supposed to know what hits you have already clicked? the blue links don't turn purple

The funny thing about this kind of change is it happens in all types of jobs. I understand that no one likes changes, but so many companies change systems all the time and people have panic attacks just to find out that once they learned the new system it was indeed better.

I also know that companies make these changes to increase profits for themselves, they wouldn't spend the time and money to invest in something that they didn't believe still had a future. So we as Mturkers should be more than happy about the changes because that means we should be able to earn for a longer period of time.

I happen to like the new layout and I get that it is not perfect yet, but it's not like they didn't make us aware of the change we've known about it for months. They also have had it running as beta and if people didn't choose to try it or learn more about they really have only one person to blame.

 

I just finished a hit that took for freaking ever and it timed out about 5 seconds before I received my code. Is there any way to find the requester's contact details if her hit is no longer up? I have her ID number from TO, but that's about it. I spent so much time on this hit.

 

yeah, it just saves a few clicks, lol. any time my clipboard contains https://worker.mturk.com/projects/, it rips out just the gid. now i'm trying to figure out how to dummy-proof it in case i want the entire link in some circumstances.
