Yeah cave story is really good and to make it better you can play the game for free. (I can't remember what the remake changed in the game but I think it is just the graphics and the sound)

 

I was just seeing what your tastes are more than anything. I'm not a huge fan of dark souls, I love oblivion though but can live without Skyrim. Fallout I would suggest, Dragon Age I would suggest, maybe the original Fables for some that old school RPG goodness

It's a story based game with, like, nothing at all fiddly. It seemed to be well-developed and sad in a sense that most games aren't, like legitimately emotional without being maudlin (FF7 lol). You can finish it in an afternoon (I'm p. sure it's free?)

You'd probably also like The Stanley Parable and Always Sometimes Monsters if you like that, def. the former more than the latter.

They (Algebra Experiments) got me again, must be 18 - 40, returning in a few minutes.

 

Those can be fun but they do start to get a little repetitive from one to another.
