Exactly! I'm already getting a list of things together that I forgot to get my parents to bring up for Christmas. We'll probably be home late March or April, because my cousin in Lafayette is having baby! BABY! I wanted to go home for Mardi Gras, but less than 2 months is too soon to be with my parents for an extended time (then have to do it again for the baby).

 

Love the new avatar! I think my favorite has been Thanksgiving though.

The only reason I really stop by whole foods is that they carry the local beers who haven't started canning or bottling yet in that little bar area.

The only reason I don't drink at the theater is I never go unless it's a film I want to be absolutely sober for. I pay $40 to sit by myself and eat popcorn and coke, I want to see every single frame of Dunkirk.

I don't know how the Hipsters have managed to fuck up gin, though. You know it's always been an industrial product? There was never an old Scotsman, sampling an ancient still made from sheep bones and Presbyterian severity. It was British industrial alcohol, purified to Imperial standards, with handfulls of juniper berries and some other crap thrown in for flavor.

I can see why there is hyper-expensive Indian or British tonic. I can see that.

I can see why gin would be expensive. You can just start throwing ingredients and process at it until it's expensive. But I feel when I buy Glendeveron or even Bushmill's or Johny Walker, I'm getting something of an ancient local tradition. And to a lesser extent JD or Beam. You're getting real Freedom Booze when you tip back a jack and coke. Gets me all choked up.

I wonder what an actual Prevents Malaria quinine tonic levels and a standard British gin taste like tho.

I mean, expensive gin is $35-40. Not exactly pricey compared to other liquors, they just started adding too much flower-power flavor. Most stuff started out as industrial. Look at corn whiskey people are trying to pass off on us. "Bruh, that's just fancy moonshine, and it still sucks!"

One of the reasons Boodles is my go to gin, is that it's not made with anything but the basic botanicals that gin is supposed to have. No citrus, just juniper, rosemary, nutmeg, and sage, plus it's less than $25 a bottle.

 

I play the real life version of this game where I pretend to also be a cat with Bearnie and we knock shit down and then take a nap on the chaise lounge.

I'm 100% normal folks.

PRE's is a pain for all turkers that they have to manage. Is there a way to detect how many page requests can be made to mturk before you get hit with that dreadful PRE message. I want to turk more efficiently by using Overwatch and Panda and hit(Finder,Forker or Scraper) but i am having trouble with getting that right combo in setting where I am in a rhythm. Or is it even a big deal ? Thank you again.
