    Pros:
    Somewhat accurate progress bar.
    Cons:
    Wow, did this feel long. It felt like it took twice the time it did, and I thought it would never end. Pages and pages of bubbles and slider bars.

    Yep. As long as you keep that ?version=243586 query at the end, the functionality won't break if I break the library in an update later, either.
    It'll always use this snapshot of the library.

    (Though you can have the script default to future updates of the library if you want by leaving that query off.)

    Usually a random "s" somewhere in the code after trying to do Ctrl+S and either not having Ctrl register, or letting go if it before pressing "s".

    Pros:
    Fairly accurate progress bar, but demos are about 3/4 of the way through the line and then you jump to the end.
    Cons:
    Very bubbly, plus has the added inconvenience of doing bubbles for a set of questions and then on the next page doing sliders for that exact same set of questions.

    Developing your userscripts in a local file with a real editor and @requiring the local file usually cuts down on these typo-related bugs a bit.

    Code completion (Intellisense) makes a big difference.

    I never really had typos back in the day with Visual C++, and it took me a few moments to really register that I was making a lot of typos when I started writing web code, and to figure out what the likely offender was.
