I'm at a whopping $5.75. Think I'll do some housework instead.

Couple of things that have helped me (I'm assuming you're commenting as a way of asking for help, if this is unsolicited advice, just ignore it):

Trick from AA/NA (not that I've done either but my therapist does and she shared it): It's just an 8-second urge. Modify as you see fit, just remind yourself that it's a surge of emotion (desire, longing, whatever) and IT WILL PASS. Emotions come and go just likes waves on a beach, so if you can just hold off a few seconds, or minutes, the desire will pass, you won't always be feeling like you NEED it.

Always be mindful of what your goal is. When you have a craving, ask yourself "Is this effective in getting me what I want?". Since you've shared that your goal is to be there for you daughter and get your life on track, I'm going to guess the answer is probably "no". And if the answer's no, don't do it. Hopefully reminding yourself of your goal makes it easier to pass.

I don't have a problem with drugs or booze, sadly mine is with food - one thing you can't quit cold turkey. So I feel your struggle. Hang in there, it does get better.

$5.75? That's barely enough for a pound of bacon!

You could get like 2 or so pounds from costco at that price if I recall correctly.

I've got plenty of bacon, ham, sausage, and hog jowl in the freezer. I can mop the floor and listen for the sound of money on the laptop.

You can quit food cold turkey, you will just die a few weeks later. (Assuming that you keep drinking water otherwise it will be a few days)

Anyways.. mturk is slow so I'm going to go make a burger, rice, and various veggies for myself seeing as I haven't made one in awhile. :ay:

It's been forever since I've had Checkers! They closed the closest one. I looked up the menu to see if they still had apple nuggets....they have funnel cakes. I love funnel cakes. I want a funnel cake.
