Yeah pretty much. It appears that pages with web-sockets won't be subject to the throttle, so depending on a performance impact I can just make one of HF so it won't be affected.

For me,
Panda Crazy (dedicated window): 3-8% at all times (Note: I don't even have anything collecting currently.)
HIT Scraper (3 pages, 100 results, delay 5): 0-1% when not searching, 22-46% when search is active
Overwatch: 0-1%, intermittently 3-5%, spikes to ~20% at times

Also, "Tabs playing audio are already unthrottled."

 

Depends on how you have everything setup. Everything that isn't in its own window as the top tab will be slower. So having PC not as a top level tab, it will panda slower. Having HF/OW not as a top level tab will mean they search less quickly.

 

So for these Kari's, am I right in choosing Yes (other) for Q2 if I see the logos, but only after making an account? I would choose immediately visible in the cart, but they aren't immediately visible.

My understanding is that "immediately" is meant to be differentiate between the logos being shown from having to select it from a drop-down menu from having to type in the numbers to have the method (by way of name or logo) appear. Someone feel free to chime in.

Wow is hit scraper really that poorly optimized? I know that Kadauchi has done a lot of work to optimize HF but I didn't think that HS was that bad.

If I recall correctly that is already limiting you a bit. I believe that you are limited to a bit over a 1 second timer on pages unless it has it's own window? I haven't really looked into it much but I have PC in a dedicated window currently.
