    So I've had this jumping spider living in my house for at least a week now. She just keeps showing up near me every couple of days and practically waves, then slowly crawl-hops off. She's adorable, really.

    But this time she just popped out of nowhere right in front of my keyboard while I was in the middle of that ridiculous animal HIT. I think she wanted one of those alien sex toys they were so jazzed about. Scared the bejeezus out of me.

    The other day I was making coffee right after I woke up. I usually start the coffee maker then set a cup right next to it while it brews. I walked off to go do something and when I came back I picked up the cup and caught something at the bottom of it in the corner of my eye. I peeked in and saw the spider. That gave me a good jump. Didn't really need the coffee after that.

    At least it wasn't a spider with a horsehair worm coming out of it. Don't google that, by the way. I found one wiggling around on the floor not too long ago and I'm still perturbed.

    I wasn't going to jump on the bash-the-newbie bandwagon, but I will 5000% bash the journalist for this line:
    ...Yesss? And? From my perspective everything you just described is a good thing. I bless the soul of requesters that put out long timers. It has little to no bearing on how the task actually pays and makes it much easier to sort your queue. For all we know those two mentioned tasks paid $15/hr.

    Pls do your research before speaking about things.

    Yeah THAT was what I rolled my eyes at. A long timer doesn't mean that's how long it takes. There's just so little understanding to how it all works. I would think a journalist would actually do more research, interview more sources, but what do I know, I'm too busy taking 24 hours to do a single, .08 Keith Anderson, being too poor to drink water or pee (according to @Vinidarius :p) .
