I do not have children - so I ask this with the wide eyed optimism of inexperience... what happens if you just put on what you want to watch/listen to (assuming age approps here) and tell the spawn to suck it up & deal with it?

For real. These people Cissnei watches will just have CASES of the blind bag things. And I know they aren't buying them on their own, because I looked into buying her one and the price it adds up to is outrageous.

I do this in the car and she doesn't seem to mind. She will ask if we can listen to so and so and I'm like "nah we're listening to something else" and she's just like "ok" and plays on her ipad lol.

As far as TV goes, we don't watch TV much but if we do she will find something else to do. Usually grab her ipad and watch youtube.
