Maybe look at it as your opportunity to speak your mind and tell them what is wrong with what is going on. Stay focused and matter of fact.

 

That type of empathy is what gave me such a short fuse with [someone] that caused [insert drama here].

I have a hard time seeing the positive aspects of that type of empathy when I've been part of so much BS because of it (bad jobs, relationships, etc), but staying focused on the logical, objective cold-hard truths usually levels me back out, so I'm sure that'll help with you too. Instead of things like, "This looks wrong to me because --", taking the personal aspect out and saying, "This is wrong because --." Especially if it's focused on your job, you can spin that empathy towards the company or boss or whatever, "This is wrong because it's causing this and this which hurts you because--" I'm sure you'll do great.

 

My father bought me a care package cause I've been sick. Bread, Deli meats and cheeses and theres not a lick of mustard or mayo in the house and my salad dressing expired in 2015 (never opened)

One of the reasons its taking me so long to stand up for myself is the very personal relationship everyone has here except me, I literally am an outsider. I'm trying very hard not to make this a favoritism thing, I'm going to state how I feel and how what I perceive is making me feel that way, and ask for a very clear workflow (for everyone) to mitigate these feelings of mine.

 

I wish I could help, but I'm a crier. In the past, when I go into a hard meeting like that, I've mentioned up front that it's something I'm very emotional about, and while I may cry, it doesn't mean I'm being a pushover or want sympathy; it just means that my body is betraying me, so to please pay attention to what I'm saying.

Sometimes it's worked, a time or two it hasn't.

And yes, try to remember to breathe, in through nose four counts, out through mouth eight counts if you can (that's usually once you calm).
