Ok, someone help me out here cause I'm very confused right now.

Yesterday, Matt asked me why I had dried beans in a jar. I laughed, cause I thought he was messing with me. I mean, where TF else am I supposed to store bulk dry goods like lentils and dried beans if not in ...containers.

He's now showing my bean jar to people like I'm a freak.

Like, I fully don't even understand how this is a question. WHY WOULD I NOT STORE MY BEANS IN MY GIANT MASON JAR?!

Matt's the weird one here. Storing them in an airtight container is better than just keeping them in a bag with a zip tie.

 

I think that most people like @Ana* keep their dried beans in a giant burlap bag.
