Oh, trust me, I know all about sass. My 19 year old is the sassiest, but I think she got it from me! That being said, she is also has the biggest heart of anyone I know, so sass isn't all bad! And it doesn't matter if she doesn't have grandparents, she has you and Chris!! I think she is doing more than fine. She seems like a great girl!

If I had to wash my hair more than once or twice a week, I would probably snap. Luckily, my hair has become its own little self cleaning ecosystem at this point, so the one or two times a week I put effort in don’t really bother me. Had to tell matt not to brag about that though, because it quickly goes from, “ your hair is so pretty!” To “ it’s so disgusting she hasn’t washed her hair in 5 days!” While matt is flailing and trying to explain that my hair is definitely not disgusting and no, she does not have poor hygiene and yes, she showers frequently.

But, we also both know I will get up 20 minutes before matt to put makeup on before going to the dirt bike track sooooo...I actually find getting ready very soothing, because I’m weird. Without war paint, how will everyone know I mean business?!

Thank you I like to think that we are doing well with her. She's a bit spoiled because I overcompensate for the things I feel like she's missing out on, but she also knows that she's lucky to have the things she does, so I think she's turning out well.

The big heart thing, I 100% agree with that. She worries SO much about everyone else's feelings. But almost too much sometimes. I can't get her to tell her little boyfriend that he is hurting her feelings because he has another girlfriend (oh, kids ), because she is worried she will hurt HIS feelings.
