After you get your rift and go through that tutortial, I do recommend you download and installed google earth and use that for a little bit before diving into some games, its hella cool.

Rec Room is fun af, and free. Echo Arena is also very fun and free. I bought the climb on a sale and its p. fun (you climb a mountain. My noodle arms can only do 2 mountains and then I'm dead)

you can buy games on steam and play them through the oculus as well, from steam I got OrbusVR (which is now on oculus), that onward shooter I was telling you about, and a handful of others I haven't played with yet. I also bought pavlov VR which is another multiplayer shooter but I haven't tried it yet.

Keep talking and nobody explodes is from steam and that is really fun and two people can play at the same time (one person wears the headset, the other person talks them through the puzzle)

I'm about to buy arizona sunshine (zombie shooter) to play with my bud right now too, I'll let you know how that one goes

I bought the sparc and unspoken and haven't played those yet, but they have great reviews

 

I'm not sure about any of this, I just know that they told me that my astigmatism is too severe for any of the soft lenses. And didn't mention anything about any of this. But I have an eye appointment on the 6th so I will ask about this stuff!

Yeaaa I usually just go to America's Best

$70 for an eye exam plus two pairs of glasses.

Contact exams are more than that but still significantly cheaper.

If I don't go there then I order my glasses on Zenni

 

So that deal is true? There are no hidden fees? I'm going there this weekend for the first time

It is indeed! As long as you pick your glasses from the section for that. They have nicer frames that cost a bit more, but are worth it. I bought a nicer pair one time and ended up spending like $110 or something.

 

I'm so glad to hear it. It shouldn't be a problem for me, I always graviate to the cheapies anyway because my kids somehow always get their hands on mine, since I don't wear them all the time, and have a habit of breaking them lol.

If yours get broken before you need a new prescription, I also totally recommend Zenni to order more. You can get a pair for about $40 or so from there. Maybe even cheaper, I'm just picky.

 

I wonder if there's a german word for it. When you mentioned a subject/learn about a subject and then it just keeps popping up everywhere after that
