The worst thing is, I think no matter what we tell them, they will do everything to prove us wrong! I don't think I realized my mom knew what she was talking about until I was about 21! My friends daughter recently got married and apparently there is a huge need for stylists that will travel and meet up and do a bridal parties hair and make up. And they get paid really well. And with social media, it is so much easier to get your business and reputation out there now!

My eldest has a foot out the door. The twins have been exclusively homeschooled so I definitely have spent a load of time with my family. LOL And by time I'll be gone for practicum and internship, The Boy be old enough that I'm more comfortable leaving The Girl technically on her own with an aide at the house for The Boy (because any aide for him won't watch her too, so there's never been a real need for an aide because what am I gonna do to have a respite break? Leave one twin and take the other? I don't think so.) Yes, I'm very lucky that I have a choice as well. I keep waiting for some shoe to drop to tell me it can't happen for one reason or another. I haven't worked outside the house officially for a long, long time. And I've been out of school since 2001. Grad school is already different, technology has totally changed education, and yeah, I'm vaguely intimidated. LOL But 2.5 years from now I expect to be kicking ass and taking names!
