I doubt he wants free work. The dude always pays up. What was the rejection reason that was given?

 

I think that someone updated it to work on worker awhile ago but it likely hasn't been updated much since.

I've done several John Campbell's and they've always paid, that video is the only one I've returned. I'd suggest contacting the requester if you're certain you passed all the attention checks.

Frankly hit scraper is useless if it doesn't have a log file. I know that some ghetto updated version of it had one but I don't think that was the one that was updated.

I suggest that you use either hit forker or MTS's hit finder if you aren't going to make your own scraper.

I don't see how I could have missed an A/C. And If i had missed one, why didn't the software tell me then, so I would have known to NOT to submit the hit. It is all too fishy.

 

His thinking is that if you did get kicked out people would just reopen the survey to avoid missing that check.

 

He's not using Qualtrics so he can't just kick you out for missing an A/C. Which is why it has so many warnings that the work will be rejected for missing an A/C.

Happens to the best of us tbh, everyone is human and makes booboos at some point lol.

Tbh its kind of impressive only 11 people missed A/Cs in his stuff... the self-reported failure rate for most academic surveys is up near 50% in a lot of papers I've seen lol.

Easy fix for that is to require the turker to place their Turk ID on the first ID, and only let one turk id be used per hit. I though this was SOP for requester these days.
