Well if he uses the same name my include list will still find it but he has gone through other names in the past and that is just down to paying attention to what drops. I run my scraper 24/7 so I always have a decent log of shit.

 

I'd stay and visit but jury duty part two starts in the morning, and I have to get up early enough to get Starbucks to wake my butt up at zero dark thirty. And it's gonna be raining. And the nearest parking lot is 2 blocks away. Arrrgh!!!

Do you not have a scraper? Do you seriously just only panda hits that are spoonfed to you from the forum?

If so you are missing a lot of shit. Both hit finder in MTS and hit forker have an include list and will also scrape for hits.

Overwatch is also good for include list only searching but the guy that made it has been busy so it isn't maintained really anymore.

 

I do use OW also. I work a full time job and a second part time job. I just never have had time to figure out the scraper thing. I tried once, but I don't think I was setting it up correctly. I'll try again when I have more time. Based on my turk available time, I do ok with pc and ow. But, I'll look into hitscraper again.

 

I never said hit scraper. It sucks imo.

Hit finder and hit forker are good though. You could use either of those script's include lists to replace OW and still have the ability to look back at what dropped throughout the day while you are stuck at work to add new requesters ect.

No hit finder or hit forker. They both are scrapers. OW only shows the terms that you put into it while hit finder/forker will give you a complete list of what has dropped.

I love OW but it has some issues and with how mturk is right now it is a waste of page requests to right ow and one of the scrapers at the same time.

 

OW is fine to use. It's not like it's some horrible broken down thing, especially if you're casually turking and don't need to super maximize page requests with a zillion scripts running competitively to get hits in every way possible.

Just add Brian Z's requestor number to it. Also make sure you have the helper script (or add on bit? Someone will have to help there with it, because I have it but don't remember what it is) that lets you add pandas directly from OW if you don't already have it. Then when you see him come up, start a panda. The batches are usually large personal batches, lately around 50. They each take about 5 minutes (less once you are familiar with the videos that are run over again) and pay 50c, and it's a great mindless batch. Can get too mindless sometimes. You should start a panda. I already returned mine, but I had a full queue about to expire because their timer (5 hours) was about 40 minutes from done and I'm heading to bed.

Make sure that your PC is in it's own window and maximized, just behind your other windows. That's the only way it really works.

I keep meaning to get my butt back around, but I actually might be around more this week at least. Cissnei went to stay with some family for spring break, and it's the first time she's been away from me more than a night so I'm feeling kinda empty

Interesting. Don't run hit finder/forker AND OW at the same time. Is there a significant difference between finder and forker or does it matter which one I learn more about and add?

 

Mine doesn't work minimized in its own window. So I guess it could be smaller than maximum, but does it really make a difference if it's hiding behind stuff?

 

Yeah, I need to take my xanax. If I take one tonight, I shouldn't need one tomorrow. Worried if I don't take one tonight, I'll be paranoid as hell all day tomorrow, or even worse, get all agoraphobic and not show up at all.
