It depends on what state and what county you're in. Like here in the shittier parts of SC you can't buy alcohol on Sundays at all, further down south in Orlando you can buy alcohol any time of the week. In Texas, in Dallas county you can't buy liquor from a liquor store on Sundays but you can buy it at Walmart

 

Liquor at a Wal-mart?! Damn, super jealous over here.

IMO, that's the biggest reason for the "Work Mode" setting.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Just act like you'd act if we were all sitting around the break room

 

I can't sleep w/out noise either. Even just sitting in the living room, i have to have music or the tv on. Silence is fucking creepy yo

 

I live in Las Vegas.. The only time I was not able to buy ( or get for free) any alcohol 24/ 7 was during the Rodney King Riots ( 1992).

 

Wasn't there a way settings tab on the left a few days ago that allowed people to switch to work mode if they didn't want to participate in the conversations?

 

Just work on your technique you shouldn't have an issue with that . Also you will always be my favorite pervert here.

 

My BFF went out last night around 10 pm and took a picture of my van and it appeared to have about 3" on top of it then. I just took a peek out the front door and it has at least twice that amount. Not entirely certain/scientific but it looks to be 'BUNCHES AND OODLES'. I don't have a winter coat and my wheelchair doesn't have chains so I can't go out and get a measurement. I just know that the BFF is staying home. The drive from JBLM to Renton looks dreadful from what we are seeing on the weather reports ... Huge accident on I-5 at the Tacoma Dome and all the schools here are closed.

 

been thinking about raising my daily/weekly goals. Since I don't usually turk Sunday but hit my daily goal yesterday and am 22 cents from my daily goal today this seems like the week to do it.

 

It's funny to me. I grew up in the New Orleans area, where nearly every stereotype or characteristic of the Deep South doesn't apply. No rampant racism (apart from the institutional kind), very lax concerning drugs and alcohol, hardly any religious influence in education, and a pretty accurate view on the Civil War. It always made it awkward when people online and in real life start bashing how backwards the South is.

 

I guess I got a pricey locksmith... I left my coat at the bar saturday night which had my key in it and nowhere to be found... Didn't have a spare key either. I just have an old 2005 Cavalier that I drive and the locksmith came out and charged me $240 to come out and make me my keys... oh well

 

I personally don't have high weekly goals. I see them as just the minimum I would like to make in a week.

Big cities in the South don't usually fit most of the stereotypes. I grew up in rural southwest GA and moved to rural southeast GA. A lot of the stereotypes do apply unfortunately... There's a confederate general on our courthouse square.
