This is one of those times when it would be good if I remembered where everyone lived. But of course I don't, so I've tagged who I think this applies to, hopefully everyone else that could use it, sees it.

For anyone in the range of the winter storm hitting the Mid-Atlantic right now, if you either lose power or your internet starts going on the fritz, Xfinity is opening their hotspots to non-customers in PA, WV, and MD so that you can stay connected throughout the storm. Log in through the non-customer portion when asked, and just renew the sign-in every 2 hours as needed. This will remain effective through Monday, March 26.

Also, fairly certain New Jersey and Delaware would be included as the announcement was made "for the Philadelphia region" which includes all of South Jersey and the entire state of Delaware, so give it a shot if this is you. Ohio, or at least the part of Ohio that borders the PA, should also have access.
