Ok, let's be honest time, let's say it is common knowledge among the two polar bears that the two polar bears are going to get married anyway. They were living together for a long time and they share everything including the same bank account (plus the male polar one has an off-shore in Switzerland). Seriously a ring? So, I should withdraw a huge amount from a joint account to buy a ring?

This is how I felt. I supported my husband through college so it seemed silly (to me) for him to buy me a ring. If I want one I'll buy one. (but if she wants one buy her one because that's how relationships work lol)
