I am a big LC fan, and the "classic" is kind of a boring mess to me. But I understand why people wouldn't like this version of it.

Oh don't misunderstand, I'm neither a big Clash fan nor someone that doesn't like covers. To me though if you are going to do a cover it should be an homage to the original with the same flavor and feel. When you try and change the genre altogether it rarely works. It's like with Country singers try and redo pop songs. It's very rare that it actually works. If you want to totally change up a song I say write your own and then Grinch when people screw with it lol. Ummm @leafs4_cup that is.... well again don't mess with a classic lol.

I was SOOO close this morning. I quietly pulled the 6 year old out of bed and he got ready for school without waking the 2 small demon children.I turned out the lights and explained to him that we were being quiet because Mommy was climbing back into bed once the bus came...and he laughed and told me that as soon as I lay down Emma will jump on me. No sooner did the words come out of his mouth and the boy crotch fruit wandered out of the room saying, "Good mowning." And then after the bus drove away, Emma woke up, looking for Allen, and crying hysterically because her brother was already gone. (Oh...and I caught 8 empty pins just now. )

 

That's just adding insult to injury. XD
