No, I just looked it up and I haven't read it. YET. It looks good and I'm going to.
The one I was thinking of is called The Serial Killer Whisperer so they have really similar titles. It's about a teenager who gets a head injury in a waverunner accident that's bad enough he has to learn to eat and walk, etc. all over again which he does but his ability to interact and socialize with people doesn't really come back. He starts having pen pals per his therapist's suggestion and his parents figure it can't hurt for him to write to prisoners. Sooo he does. Really bad prisoners. And they trust him because he seems so naive now and several of them start writing him about the crimes they committed.

I have a pin that says this, so yep, hi I've been watching the details of this like a hawk since Wednesday, and inappropriately bringing it up in conversation with complete strangers just because I'm so giddy. I'm so stoked to find out more as it unravels.
