    I think you mis-read his answer a bit. He's not attacking you, he's just saying that a golden is an attention check that is put in place. You get "golden'ed" when you miss out on an attention check (and it's not a normal attention check like "click the color red to show you're paying attention"). Hope this clears up some confusion lol
