    Mine learned it, but it's the second grade class with all the higher achieving kids so the teacher takes time out to do it.

    That is what I meant. It was like three weeks in 2nd or 3rd grade.

    Unless you count that as being taught it? lmao They never graded us on it as it is a useless skill that is dead.

    We mostly focused on learning to sign our own name.

    Also if you write in cursive none of your peers will be able to read your writing unless it is textbook cursive. I can read textbook cursive ... that shit is fine..

    It's good for learning penmanship, but cursive is more or less illegible and she'll be discouraged from using it as she gets older anyway.
