    My general feelings regarding the whole cursive thing: Just because something was done in the past doesn't mean it's still relevant. The sentiment I see amongst those who want to keep it around goes something like, "well it's what they used to teach me!"

    I might not be the best at cursive, but I can type 80-120 wpm depending on the content. Unless the content is cursive LOL

    It's true. Physical books are huge and clunky and it's such a pain to transport your library from place to place. Plus all that paper is just an outright waste in the digital age.

    I read at about twice the speed on a tablet than a paper book due to the physical lag of turning page and other tools that tablets have.

    But it also comes in handy being able to read old letters or documents. It's already difficult to figure out what they say now. People are going to have to hire a cursive specialist to translate :lol:
