02/13 - Money Monday!

It's mostly just figuring out what works for you. I've discovered that the go ham setting doesn't work for me/my settings, so I just have it on collect and I am able to catch just as many without 1,648 PREs. Just mess around with your set up and see what happens.

 

At this point, if he fixes something and it's working I don't ask too much about what sketchy shit he did. He decided he didn't want to buy a new microwave and it took about 3 tries before he made one work without nearly burning our house down. The look on my face when he flat out beat a microwave to pieces was priceless. Luckily for him, third time was the charm and he fixed it for 10 bucks. For all the times he's insane he does something like fix my car with nothing but safety wire and a hose and magic when I had a dollar to my name and I was melting down. So, I deal with the fires and occasional wrench induced smack down of things we own.

Ah, so good to know I'm not alone in having a bonkers partner!

Oh man, between MacGyver and Stargate I was super into him.

 

Ironically, one day at work when they didn't have anything for Travis, his boss made him fix the three broken microwaves they had laying around. YouTube and a few hours later and BAM! Fixed microwaves. He discovered after he put the first one back together, if he crossed some wires wrong he could have made the thing melt down, so he was a little sketched out by that.

Amen to that! Travis does a lot that I for sure can't do, so I'll smile and nod at his hair brained schemes and hope he doesn't hurt himself in the process. Granted, he probably says the same about me. I know he cringes a little everytime I turn on the air compressor to do 'some random crap.'

Yep. Playing around with PC's your best bet. I've found it works for me, but I usually end up with nearly 500+ PREs.

Edit: Heck, I'll even juggle between pandas – turning one, or a few, off in favor of another, more lucrative, panda.
