Arnoudt response is below. My logged time for the Survey was 5 minutes, 45 seconds. So, I still believe the issue is on his end. Emailed back again with my logged data, we shall see....

Thank you for your time to look up the code and reply. As you requested, I reviewed your specific case to check if you were rejected correctly from the survey you participated in. I am writing you to inform you that it was indeed rejected as intended. Below I will explain shortly the general process of screening the survey.
The main reasons for your rejection are:
- You stopped reading the news article in less than 13 seconds
- Subsequently, you failed the reading comprehension question
- You finished the survey in approximately less than 2,5 minutes
Please note: the full rejection process was done very seriously and took a lot of time. Rejections were done after very careful examination of many indicators. Only the main reasons that are sufficient for rejection are mentioned above.
The original rejection checks were done very carefully. Firstly, the criteria for rejection were formulated through standards found in academic literature, in counsel with senior researchers, and through a benchmarking process. These benchmarks were based on a small number of people filled out the survey in specific ways, such as "as quick as possible", "as quickly as you can, but reading and answering seriously", and "at a normal pace but without getting distracted". Based on this patterns emerged to help detect respondents.
The criteria were then interpreted in the following way. Firstly, the formulated criteria were based on the fastest serious test respondents. Secondly, the scores were lowered (meaning: set more lenient, to reject fewer respondents in the actual study). Lastly, after the actual survey was conducted criteria were inspected and relaxed where I considered too many people may otherwise get unjustly rejected. An example of this lenient interpretation is the read test question, many of the wrong answers were accepted even though they did not at all describe what the news article was about.
Part of the assignment was to read a news article carefully. Pace of reading was based on known statistics on reading speeds, as well as our own testing. Usual reading speeds lie around 200 words per minute (WPM). To allow the benefit of the doubt, we allowed double (400 WPM) that speed initially, which is about a minute for the article. Independently a senior researcher advised us to set the time for rejection at 1 minute. The actual cut-off point depended on the article, but was about half of that. This means you would have to be reading at least faster than double of double of the normal reading speed.
