They aren't doing it to collect taxes. They're doing it to keep people from renting out rooms period. Though they probably collect taxes after they've taken away their source of income. Or they just lose their homes.

They also do it so slumlords can't put up extremely unsafe housing on the top of their building, so people can't rent out cots in their back yard, park RVs en masse next to their neighbors house, and a myriad of other scummy things people do with zero oversight/regulation.

Most of the easiest VRAPIs nowadays exist because their owners are properly registered & paying their taxes. You should really do the work or at least look into it more instead of taking the wise cracks here at face value because its most definitely not that black/white.

Well, if you got frustrated and gave up on the qual, you likely would've on the actual hits as well.

 

Read the part where I explained how you're all vultures coming for @gurlondrums HITs, as she came for mine & I came for @Jesicu and idk who was doing them before her lol.

 

Basically, send your computer and a 75 page document explaining how to do all of this, then quietly bury yourself.
