    It's certainly not a deal breaker or maker for me. I already have an iPad so it's not needed. I found a cheap used one and thought they looked neat, I am literally more illiterate than a grandparent when it comes to understanding specs and stuff with computers :)

    A 920 with an i7 processor would be a bit overkill for your usage scenario. If you're set on the form factor, a 720 with an i5 might be the better option with better battery life and save you a few hundred dollars.

    In general I've been a fan of Lenovo, but we bought a (different model) Yoga for my daughter. In the space of about two years we had to replace the oddball power cable when it stopped charging, and then the screen went. It was literally half the cost of the laptop to replace it, and it was on back-order for a month. We said screw it and got her a cheap second hand conventional Lenovo (not touch screen, not two in one).

    Touchscreens are a lot more expensive to replace if they go wrong, so be aware of that at least. Her Yoga was beautiful and very high powered and totally functional until it just stopped working.
