To date I think this year I’ve received about $200 in lawsuit settlements for things that legit have never bugged me or inconvenienced me in any way.

One from Visionworks for “misleading BOGO offers” (I didn’t need a lawyer to tell me I got ripped off)

One from a company I bought furniture from for a bad extended warranty policy (bonus: I didn’t even buy their extended warranty, I also don’t need a lawyer to tell me those are rip offs)

This one now for Instagram and Yelp using my data or something. I personally don’t care about privacy I would willingly let companies mine all my social media for data if the pay was right. $1 from an mTurk survey? Nah. But send me a check every month?
