Man I hope you don't have the cold/flu that's going through our house right now. It lingers so freakin' long. Daytime turned into a cocktail of meds, and eventually even Nyquil wasn't cutting it at night, and I was dosing on Sudafed (the real stuff) and Benedryl just hoping to dry out. I got pretty dehydrated too - I could pinch the skin on my hand and it would stay up! I had it about two weeks. I'm finally just to a normal sniffly nose and cough just to clear my throat once an hour or so. The rest of the house though, is coughing constantly... and it's driving me batshit insane!

Page requests exceeded almost immediately tonight, PINs saying that I already have others, accepting the same HITs multiple times...tonight was bad from the beginning. Oh well $6.77 is better than nothing. Nothing is really being posted. I guess that's the sign.

no, you're fine. they block you from the rest of the current batch. you're good to go when they drop the next one

 

In a way, I want to get it over with, you're going to get a rejection some time right? It's probably better to just rip the bandage off in one go. Rather than live in anticipation.

 

you're new, so no you don't want a rejection. eventually, yeah. cherry picking hits and avoiding stuff because you're scared is terrible for your bottom line in the long run.

 

Yeah, scared money don't make money, but you can balance risk and reward. I'm doin' OK for day 9.

 

I can attest to that- have over 107,000 with 27 rejections and still cherry pick and avoid any hit with any rejection history and I suffer greatly for it.

 

The mistake I made was I said when I get 50,000 approved, I'll start taking more chances- but then I hit 50,000 and thought, if I get a bunch of rejections now, Amazon will ban me thinking I'm doing crummy work all of a sudden- so, now I am as paranoid as ever of rejections.
I'll do a new requester batch, but only like 50 and make 3-5 bucks, while everybody else is doing 500-1000 and making bank on one batch of the day. Sucks.

 

not bad for 10ish days for sure. but as for risk, i mean, i'd wait until you're over a couple thousand at the very least before you try any questionable hits. if you find a fire batch and do like 50 hits and they all reject, you'd have a hard time recovering from that.

 

yeah, i'd loosen up a bit if i were you
